Our direct client is looking to add a UI Developer to their Team! We are seeking a UI Developer/Senior Software Engineer will be a key contributor to an informatics project. This project includes both new component development for the use of the application for clinical trials and improvements to the underlying platform in order to better support our client's new use cases and to share their work with established open source communities.
UI Developer/Senior Software Engineer will work collaboratively with technical leadership and users in order to design, code and deploy tools and platforms that will be used across the community and shared nationally. UI Developer/Senior Software Engineer will be responsible for user interface development, deployment, maintenance, and improvements.
UI Developer/Senior Software Engineer responsibilities include both server and browser side code development focused on improving our user experience. Additional responsibilities include developing interfaces for use by researchers, policy makers, and members of the public. This role focuses primarily on client-side code development. This person will work with a variety of teams on the project and will be expected to analyze requirements, develop designs, perform unit tests and support ongoing QA efforts.
UI Developer/Senior Software Engineer requirements:
BA/BS, preferably in computer science. The incumbent will have at least 7-year-experience in web application and web service development and at least 5 years of professional experience in Java, MVC frameworks (eg JSF, Spring MVC, Grails), UI design, and RESTful web services.
