Description
My Client requires an experienced auditor to join its Internal Audit function which sits within Business Assurance, providing independent assurance that controls and processes are operating effectively.
The role will involve
- Preparing detailed audit testing plans that focus on key risks.
- Carrying out rigorous audit testing, flexing work plans in response to findings and emerging risks.
- Agreeing issues, impacts, root causes and recommendations with management throughout the course of audit assignments.
- Acting as a champion of internal control, sharing expertise within the team and encouraging best practice behaviours across the business
- Writing clear, concise, robust and balanced audit reports that require minimal re-drafting.
- Taking a full role in any ad hoc tasks or projects required to meet departmental objectives
The successful candidate will have significant auditing or similar relevant experience. (Internal Audit experience would be a distinct advantage.) One of the following professional qualifications as appropriate to the role: (ACA, ACCA, ACMA), Member of Institute of Internal Auditing, Certified Information Systems Auditor.
