Our client is a worldwide known company, dedicating its expertise to supporting members of the public in over 70 different countries. Due to obtaining new projects our client requires a Head of Portfolio Marketing, to join their teams based near Moorgate in London, close to Aldgate tube station, on a contract basis. Our client urgently requires a candidate to fill this role and are offering between £500 - £750 a day to obtain an experienced and immediately ready candidate.

To be successful in this role you must hold technical skills, have a good understanding of how to drive a roadmap, knowledge of message and propositions. You must have a full understanding of either IT services, Network, Voice and UC (unified communications). A mixture is most desired.

The role is eligible to turn permanent, but currently looking for a contractor due to the urgency, on a 3 month basis, the option is open to the contractor to go permanent or for the contract to end.

Experience in the below area is required, please make this clear on your CV for our client.

  • Proposition Positioning - Develop product positioning and messaging strategy that differentiates the portfolio & solutions from the market ensuring that there is consistent messaging and branding across all CES offerings. Develop collateral with the marketing team to communicate our portfolio to our customers via multiple mediums.
  • Product Launch - Ensure all collateral and training for the launch of new products and releases are completed and produced to a consistently high standard and interface with marketing team to manage the Pan-European implementation of the plans.
  • Portfolio Roadmap - Maintain an external roadmap of committed launches for the next 12-18 months
  • Portfolio Support. - Be the guardian of the portfolio in order to be sure that all collateral and price lists are in-place and up to date
  • Partners: Contributing to the partner strategy primarily to ensure we are driving them rather than them driving us.
  • Market intelligence - Be the expert on the buyers within our selected segments, how they buy and their buying criteria; be the central portfolio expert on the competition and how to position against them.
  • Sales Enablement - Ensure the consistent articulation of the value proposition of the portfolio & solutions to the sales team and define and develop the sales tools that support the selling process of your products, specifically buyer personas and roles for target customers. Develop a range of collateral in collaboration with the marketing team
  • Demand generation - Set the agenda and priority for demand generation requirements and manage the Portfolio Marketing Managers in generating relevant messaging and content that the solution marketing team can take and execute against.
  • Awareness: Be a spokesperson that can engage with press, analysts and influencers as well as contribute content that can be used across at PR, events and social media.
