Leading blue chip firm are looking for a SAS administrator to assist within the development and maintenance of their SAS applications.
You will have a couple of years experience with SAS in an administration and capacity, understanding how to deal with both test and live environments. Strong experience of using a variety of SAS products and solutions, eg Base SAS, SAS Enterprise Guide, SAS DI Studio, SAS BI Suite, eg WRS, Portal, OLAP, Stored Processes, SAS/Graph, etc.
Responsibility
- Includes a mix of activities
- SAS technical,
- Maintenance,
- Service request management (monitoring, incident & problem mgmt.),
- Scheduling, promotes & deployments,
- Process follow-ups etc
Skill Set
- Deep SAS knowledge
- Linux commands & Scripting experience
- Basic experience or knowledge of Tivoli agent scheduler
- Basic DB2 knowledge for administering over Linux
- Strong communication as he/she would liaise between multiple departments and across people
- Understanding of Dutch required (normal communication can be English or Dutch or French)
- Process oriented
Experience level
- 8+ years of working experience
- At least 5 years' experience in SAS of which 2 years as SAS Admin
- Fluent in English and Understanding of Dutch.
