Description
Graduate Optical Design Engineers are required by a global market leader in the manufacture of advanced technology systems for the semiconductor industry. These systems are used by the major semiconductor manufacturers to create integrated circuits that power an array of electronic, communications and IT products. Optical Engineers will be based in The Netherlands on a long term contract basis.As a Design Engineer in the Imaging Systems Development department you will be a key player in a very fast-paced, multidiscipline environment. Primarily you will be involved in troubleshooting issues and designing solutions for the Extreme Ultraviolet source systems both in The Netherlands and on customer site.
Responsibilities:
* Specify, design and validate EUV source functionality improvements
* Analyse and solve issues
* Extensive analysis of performance data
* Support field and factory with your EUV source knowledge
* Specifying test, performing tests and reporting
Education:
BSc or MSc in applied physics
Experience:
0-2 year`s relevant experience with troubleshooting in complex systems
Knowledge of optical measurement systems is preferable.
Optical Design Engineers will need to be flexible as travel is required
