An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Financial Administrator to join a leading financial services organisation based in Edinburgh for a 6 month contract but there is a good chance this could then be extended further.

You will be working on a project heavily influenced by reconciliations and dealing with internal contacts based on another site as part of a team of 8 people.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform intermediate level tasks in Word, Excel and PowerPoint (ie word documents with tables, spreadsheets with complex formulas and detailed presentations/charts).
  • Complex tasks within databases and e-mail systems
  • Operate the advanced features of phone/voicemail and office equipment
  • Access a wide variety of Internet resources.

Skills/Experience required:

  • Advanced Microsoft Word & excel abilities
  • Previous Financial Services experience
  • Powerpoint knowledge
  • Ability to analyse large amounts of data
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Great Attention to detail
  • Excellent telephone manner
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Must have ability to use own initiative & be resourceful
