The client is a large financial institution in Luxembourg. the IT Section - Investment Funds & Fix Team, is looking for 1 external resource as stated here below:

* Senior Functional Analyst (f/m) for Vestima+ in the context of IFS and MSP projects.*

Tasks/Responsibilities:

  • As a Senior Functional Analyst, the main task of the candidate is to be responsible for the Investment Funds chapters of System Requirement Analysis (SRA) document in Clearstream's projects.
  • The candidate shall be able to perform detailed analysis of the impacts of the Investment Funds areas and to establish all the related functional system requirements.
  • The candidate will be involved in the related activities within the Functional Analyst team of Vestima.

Qualifications/Required Skills (mandatory):

  • Significant experience (minimum 7 years) as functional/business analyst with major contributions in the modelling of functional system requirements specifications of large and complex IT projects.
  • Very good knowledge of modelling techniques and standards of the industry.
  • Good knowledge of technical architecture concepts is an asset.
  • Very good knowledge of the financial industry areas, ideally in Investment Funds and/or Settlement.
  • Ability to learn rapidly new business domains and to produce detailed functional/business designs.
  • Ability to work quickly and accurately under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent English verbal and written communication skills.

Additional requirements (optional):

  • Former Clearstream experience as Functional Analyst is a strong asset, ideally in Vestima or RTS/CSE.

Assignment Details:

Location: Luxembourg
Starting date: 2nd January 2013. Assignment: full-time
Duration: the assignment is currently foreseen until summer 2013 (with an option of extension).
Initial contract: for 3 months (optional extension)
