SQL Server DBA/Amsterdam/SQL /ETL
Montreal Associates is currently looking for an SQL Server DBA to join a leading organisation based in Amsterdam. 9 month contract to start with but extensions are almost certain to follow.
You will be responsible for the integrity, security, configuration and continuous availability of MS SQL Server databases with a view to optimising performance and integrating various data sources.
The ideal candidate will be an experienced SQL Server DBA looking to increase their exposure to the following:
* Excellent understanding of MS SQL database design and operating principles
* Experience of managing multiple MS SQL 2000,2005 and 2008 instances on large systems across Production, Test, QA and Development environments
* Practical experience in monitoring and tuning a database to provide a high availability service
* Experience of Transactional SQL, DTS/SSIS, stored procedures, script writing
* Preferably experience of SQL Server 2008 R2, SQL Server Clustering, Replication, SSRS, Log Shipping, Installation and configuration of SQL Server
* ETL process development
* Report server management
