Finance Manager - Central London - 3 months - Financial Services
Working for my major financial services client I am looking for a Finance Manager for a period of 3 months based in London.
Key Competencies will include:
* Very credible in front of business finance directors/AGC Stakeholders
* Excellent personal impact and influencing skills and customers responsiveness
* Ability to challenge business finance directors/AGC stakeholders; ability to stand firm when under pressure regarding the content of a QA report or when a key control test has failed
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
* Strong focus on timely delivery and production of high quality outputs, even when under pressure
* Strong emphasis on financial control and process
* Initiative and innovation - ability to suggest new ways of doings things and encourage this in others
* Good IT skills - including MS Office and Open Pages (preferably)
* Strong analytical and review skills
* A 'can do' attitude and demeanour with initiative
* Stakeholder Management
* Planning and Organisation and Influencing & Networking
QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE
Degree plus recognised accounting qualification (ACA preferred)
* Influencing and relationship management skills essential and proactive stakeholder management skills
* Financial Control disciplines and experience essential; knowledge of FRCF methodology preferred
* Documentation standards to the highest quality
* Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
* Prioritisation capabilities
* Strong control ethic
* Process excellence
EXPERIENCE
* Experience of delivery within audit or company audit practice
* Experience of FRCF essential and Open Pages desirable
* Broad business experience
* Good project management experience
* Proven track record of effective relationship management and influencing experience
* Strong financial accounting and control experience in a large multi-national organisation
