Contract Manager - Aerospace

Responsible and accountable for managing and negotiating customer contracts, ensuring that the terms and conditions comply with the relevant law, meet the agreed business objectives and that the business satisfies the requirements of the contract. Support the Programme Management team in responding to requests for quote.

Main Responsibilities:
* Undertake the novation of existing contracts from their previous owner, ensuring that all relevant terms and conditions, obligations and burdens are accurately captured.
* Support the business in the development and negotiation of new contracts, both for the supply of new build products and for their aftermarket support.
* Perform contract administration activities to ensure that contractual obligations are maintained in a manner which ensures good customer relations while representing the interest of the company.
* Point of contact for the customer for contractual matters. Represent customer within the company; champion customer needs and coordinate responses to assure customer expectations are met.
* Advise management of contract obligations, deficiencies, commitments, and performance.
* Provide interface liaison with other functions and ensure proper communication of requirements.
* Provide interpretation of terms and conditions of contractual obligations.
* Analyse impact of modifications and revisions and prepare company recommendations.
* Support other functions in the flowdown of contract requirements to suppliers and construct supply agreements.
* Maintain an awareness of current statutory requirements influencing contract development and administration.
* Develop and administer contract administration policies, systems, procedures and methods.
* Process non-disclosure agreements.

Other Responsibilities:
* Adhere to legislation governing employment, including but not restricted to; health and safety, data protection, equal opportunities, quality assurance ensuring compliance with statutory and local policies and procedures.
* Undertake other duties commensurate with the role that may be required from time to time.
