Outsource UK Ltd is actively seeking to recruit for a 3D CAD Design Engineer for a 6 month contract based in Kent
Working with our leading defence client you will be required to produce 3D CAD Data and Engineering Drawings for components and assemblies using Pro-Engineer in accordance with applicable industry, customer and internal standards, and to release drawings, design data, and associated change notices through the TeamCentre PDM system.
The suitable candidate should hold a HNC or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering or other relevant discipline and be capable of applying engineering theory and practice to the drawings and design data being prepared, including the application of GD&T dimensioning methods.
Experience with BS8888 and ASME Y14.100 drawing standards is required along with proficiency in the use of ProENGINEER WF5.0. and PDM-Link. Experience with Teamcenter is also desirable.
This is a 6 month contract and is commutable from Kent, Gillingham, Chatham, Sittingbourne and Maidstone
