Product investion engineer:

Activities include

  • Managing, reviewing and responding to FRACAS information with suppliers, customers and manufacturing facilities
  • Working on customer improvement projects
  • Managing customer returns
  • Working closely in partnership with Post Design to Maintain technical documentation related to the system and product
  • Managing and reviewing maintainability and reliability data
  • Working with other departments to assist in implementing design improvements
  • Working with other departments to assist in implementing cost reduction activities
  • Generate technical content for corrective action reports
  • Adhering to GE design and Product investigation procedure

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Qualification to degree level or above in an electronic or hardware discipline or qualified through demonstrated experience
  • Experience in working in a similar environment is required
  • Demonstrated ability in leading root cause corrective actions investigations.
