Our Client is a leading financial institution currently seeking a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer to join their team in Galway on a Contract Basis.
Job/Opportunity
This role will focus on the full functional testing life cycle for various functional application testing initiatives for the portfolio monitoring platform. The successful applicant will be involved in defining test strategies, developing test plans, creating test cases, test execution, and results reporting. They will be working closely with a Dublin based QA, a US based QA and a US based Business Analysis team for requirements definition.
Skills/Expertise
- 5+ years experience with full spectrum of functional Quality Assurance testing and systems development life cycle.
- Experience with functional test execution utilizing an Agile development methodology.
- Working knowledge of HP Quality Centre and UNIX.
- Familiarity with Test Automation is highly valued.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Working experience in functional testing and database testing, including strong SQL knowledge.
- Knowledge of the Financial Services and Mutual Fund Industry.
