A leading financial institution based in California is looking for a senior network security consultant, with a broad and in-depth technical networking and security background. The team focuses on high performance, cutting edge hardware and software, and are always investing a significant amount of money in ensuring they stay ahead of the competitive financial market.
Main responsibility for the Senior Network & Security Consultant - Financial Services - California
- Supporting all related networking systems for the company
- LAN/WAN, switching, routing, Firewalls, Internet services
- Supporting critical production systems,
- Implementing new technologies,
- Project management and managing staff in support of financial applications.
- Creation of network topology designs in collaboration with Infrastructure Teams
- Manage & Support onsite engineers
- Direction and participation of network implementation plans
Key skills for the Senior Network & Security Consultant - Financial Services - California:
- Fundamental knowledge of networking concepts - switching, routing, layer 2/3, Firewalls, Internet, etc.
- Fundamental knowledge of LAN/WAN/MAN architecture, load balancing, routing, etc.
- Good project management and organizational skills, good troubleshooting skills
- Five plus years of experience in related fields
- Minimum of 2 years experience of Networking Support for medium to large network Internet/Extranet ASP Infrastructure
- A degree or equivalent professional certification is highly desirable
