Description
A growing force in drilling and well control systems for the Oil & Gas industry has recently secured two large projects with a prestigious end client, and requires an additional Electrical Project Engineer on a 6 month contract basis.
Based at the Aberdeen office, you will assist the electrical team with efficient delivery of multiple projects to client specifications, taking an active role in client interfacing and liaising with the on-site engineering teams. You will take an active role in producing software code for PLCs, as well specifying hardware requirements directly to the purchasing team.
You'll be able to demonstrate a strong electrical background, ideally with a level of previous employment within the Oil & Gas sector. The PLC software used is predominantly Siemens and S7, however if you are highly proficient in Rockwell or Mitsubishi you will still be considered. Any exposure to CAD using AutoCAD is also desirable, along with any working knowledge of hydraulic systems.
