Description

The organisation develops, builds and operates offshore wind farms along the coasts of several European countries. Our extensive project pipeline includes wind farms totalling over 4GW. Projects are constructed on a multi-contract basis with the client taking an active involvement in all engineering and installation aspects.

In support of the Project Survey Department, you will have the opportunity to work within high-performing integrated team in a dynamic and diverse environment where creativity and innovations are fostered and encouraged. You will have the opportunity to provide data management, survey and GIS support during the construction of the associated offshore wind farm.


Working mainly onshore, some of your duties will include:

* Acting as data manager for the GyM site
* Acting as liaison between office and vessels for Quality Control and Quality Assurance of data and formats
* Producing up to date charts and information for as built documentation
* Control and management of as built reports and real time updates


Principle accountabilities:

* Implement and manage a suitable format for in-field use
Co-ordinate and manage all as-built documentation received from the field.
* Ensure that all necessary project specific reporting elements are identified and thoroughly addressed
* Issue up to date field information as the project construction progresses
* Operation and use of post survey software packages
* Post processing of survey data
* Report writing and compilation
* Work with survey contractors to ensure that all reporting needs for the project are met.
* Monitor survey contractors and furnish essential offshore Quality Assurance/Quality Control support to ensure that the survey contractors are meeting contractual obligations and that they are performing at the required technical level
* Provide critical support in developing as-built survey documentation for projects, ensuring that data is collected and presented in a format consistent with current data management requirements.
-Actively promote GIS as medium for data management
-Participate in project risk analyses and activities


Knowledge and Skills:

Essential:

* Sound knowledge of GIS / AutoCAD
* Proficient in AutoCAD for 2D design Control of Design information and the Design process
* A sound knowledge of hydrographic surveying principles associated with subsea marine construction projects.
* Knowledge of offshore survey operations
* A proven ability to prioritise and manage demands from multiple projects.
* Practical approach to problem solving.
* Excellent communication
