Mansion House Consulting are a highly successful and rapidly expanding Technology and Business Transformation Consultancy specialising in the Investment Banking, Corporate Banking, Asset/Fund Management and Wealth Management sectors. We currently have offices in London, New York, Frankfurt, Amsterdam and Singapore.
We urgently seek a senior Storage Consultant to be based in Harboside New Jersey to Support new operating and host tiering initiatives. You will be responsible for providing Storage Operations day to day support such as Storage Provisioning, Zoning, and Masking with responsibility for Troubleshooting SAN connectivity using Cisco MDS management tools and Performing Data Migrations using EMC PPME and Viacom piper's appliance. This role would suit a Consultant with excellent attention to detail gained within the Banking or other fast paced environment.
The successful Consultant will need to demonstrate extensive expertise in the areas of:
Storage Consolidation
Workload balancing or other performance-related tuning
Storage Array decommissioning
Production Stabilization
Performing SAN migration effectively and in a controlled environment to assure data integrity, compatibility, low downtime, and security as well as a seamless migration process.
EMC VMAX architecture (Supporting and Troubleshooting)
HDS USPV architecture (Supporting and Troubleshooting)
Solaris 10, and Windows Management
Managing and recommending how to effectively integrate and use EMC information infrastructure solutions
Configuring and managing Symmetrix storage systems using Solutions Enabler and Symmetrix Management Console (SMC)
Analyzing the performance of Symmetrix DMX and V-Max-series arrays using ControlCenter Performance Manager and Symmetrix Performance Analyzer.
