Infrastructure Engineer A large multinational group, with a HQ in Dublin, seek an Infrastructure/Network Engineer for an initial 18 month contract. The likelihood of extension beyond this is very high. This is an exceptional opportunity to join a renowned company. Your experience should include a min 3+ years in a Network Engineer/Infrastructure Engineer role and some experience in the Pharmaceutical Manufacturing sector will be beneficial.
Duties
Support for the company Infrastructure/Servers, Support for all peripherals, Network infrastructure support including cabling, Switches Hubs
Skills
- Min 3 + years working in Network Support
- Experience in Pharmaceutical Manufacturing sector is highly beneficial
- Experience with Pharma-specific documentation
- VMWare
- Exchange (Support)
- Routers and Switches
- Telephony Systems (Support)
- MCSE/CCNA/similar certifications
- Knowledge of GMP would be beneficial
Technical skills - is there anything Pharma specific required? You will need general network skills; Windows/Lan etc. You will be an Infrastructure Engineer (the range of technical skills regarding infrastructure is presumed and implicit). The Pharma-specific skills are in relation to documentation experience - Good Technical Writing, experience with raising Change Controls, Preparation and execution of Installation and Operational Qualification Documents, writing Qualification Plans, and Requirements Specifications. Are there "must-have" technical skills? No - an Infrastructure Engineer will know what the basics are - Virtualisation experience would be an advantage, so too would certifications with regards Cisco, Microsoft etc
