Position: Server Support Analysts - Refresh Project
Key Skills: Windows Server Migration Projects, Software Distribution
Location: Toronto - Don Mills, Command Centre
Type: Contract - 10 Months
Nightshift, starts at 8:00pm
Our client is performing a large scale Server Refresh for a leading financial institution. We need Server Support Analysts that have participated in similar migration projects. Replacing 400 Dell Servers and upgrading from Windows 2003 to 2008
You will be responsible for all completing all tasks associated with the project. You will also complete all necessary paperwork for the site and distribute this data to the Project Coordinators.
Experience
* 4-5 years of Windows Server experience including Active Directory & Exchange
* Windows Server Migration experience and software distribution experience
* Certifications - Server Certified o r A+, MCSE & MCP
Responsibilities
* Complete all migration tasks for Server Replacement and Windows upgrade
* Provide leadership for team resources.
* Serve as a reference communication point for the Deployment Engineer.
* Serve as a contact point for system installation scheduling, provide site readiness.
* Ensure installations are completed within required timeframes.
* Report any damaged boxes and/or equipment.
* Ensure adherence to scope of Project.
* Report problems/issues to Client Command Post and Project Manager.
* Report all install issues to the Command Post as required
* Complete QA Worksheet and obtain site signoff from site contact.
