C++ Developer, Telecommunications
Location: Sint-Niklaas, Belgium

Working as a member of the software development team participating in the design, specification, implementation, testing and bug fixing of the full software package for a specified Product Line.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Translate the defined architecture in a detailed design, implement and test of the components
Produce and execute unit and integration tests
Debug problems and resolve root cause
Document code, solutions and test cases
Take up ownership of a specific system component
EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION REQUIRED
Master's degree in Engineering (Computer Sciences or Telecommunication) with minimal 1 year of relevant experience in Telecom
Common software design practices: modular/OO programming, reusability, unit tests, continuous integration, UML, code refactoring
Knowledge and experience in C, C++ & Linux development - 1 year
Experience in writing fficient code
Knowledge of IP and related protocols (TCP/IP, HTTP, etc)
Familiar with telecomms concepts (eg routing, scheduling)
Excellent written and spoken English
