Description
Interim Marketing Director for an extended assignment with a Greenfield 2G/3G network operator in Afghanistan.
Responsibilities:
- Define and direct marketing programs for demand creation, lead generation and interface with Sales Directors for lead tracking and management
- Oversee product management including market and customer research for market and product requirements, interface with engineering for product development, product pricing and product life cycle management
- Develop and manage the company's entire marketing budget.
Requirements:
- 7 years marketing management experience within mobile operating companies, including at least 4 years at Marketing Director level
- Excellent command of English (written & spoken)
- Experienced in development of operational processes & procedures
- Experienced in recruitment, training and motivation of professional staff
Ideally:
- Senior role within the launch team of at least one new mobile operator
- Experience working in challenging environments in the MENA region (eg Afghanistan, Iraq, Iran, Sudan, Libya etc)
Start date: End of 2012/Beginning of 2013
Term: Assignment duration will be 6 months (25 weeks) with the possibility to be extended or to become permanent
Location: Kabul, Afghanistan
Package:
- 800 USD per day, 6-day work week (approx USD)
