My Client, a large oil and gas contractor is looking for Subsea/offshore Pipeline Engineers to join there team in London.
With a very generous package on offer and interviews starting ASAP, the task will include the following:
Roles & Responsibilities
-Perform engineering duties as advised under supervision of the Lead and Senior engineers or assigned Manager.
-Take responsibility for pipeline design engineering tasks performing associated calculations and analysis.
-Be proficient in writing and checking design reports and be able to present engineering results and conclusions in verbal and written format.
-Supervise and coordinate designers and draftsmen liaising closely with other project team members.
-Ensure compliance with corporate and project QMS & HSE procedures.
-Liaise with material and equipment suppliers.
Experience Required
-BEng or MEng at 2:1 or above.
-Post graduation experience of which some must involve subsea design experience with a design engineering organization or consultancy.
-Experience in the use of pipeline design software such as Abaqus.
-Competence in the use of codes and standards for subsea pipeline design.
-Knowledge of current design methods.
-Experience of presenting design results and making economic comparisons.
-Knowledge of materials and corrosion issues desirable.
-Deepwater experience desirable.
-Construction and installation experience desirable.
-Chartered engineers or those preparing for Institute membership preferred.
-Willingness to work as part of a team.
-Good written and verbal communication skills in an engineering environment
