An exciting opportunity is on offer for an experienced Management Accountant to join a large Engineering business on a 12 month fixed term contract and really make an impact within this challenging environment.
You will be a part qualified or qualified accountant with previous experience within a similar position and seeking a challenging and varied role where you will utilise your vast array of skills to play a pivotal role in the teams success.
Main responsibilities include:
* To assist the Finance Manager in the preparation of the financial and management accounts
* Production of monthly Flash results and management accounts
* Preparation of balance sheet reconciliations
* Assist in developing other finance team members to maximise performance
* Assist in the identification of profit and process improvement opportunities
* Working closely with key stakeholders, Auditors and management
The successful candidate will be either a part qualified or qualified Management Accountant who is both business and customer focused, has strong influencing and communication skills at all levels, isn't afraid to make important decision on a day to day basis and has the skills and expertise to hit the ground running and make a real impact within this exciting business. Previous experience within the Engineering/Construction industries would be a big advantage.
