Our client, a prominent and highly respected Automotive manufacturer, is currently seeking a Project Engineer on a contract basis. The Project Engineer's role is to complete all required CAD duties to support release engineers. The main role is to sub-frame concept design and progression through to part drawings. The contract is offering a pay rate of 32 per hour, and is to be based in Warwickshire.

Key Responsibilities and Tasks to be completed:
- Supporting Chassis component engineers with component and system designs in NX.
- Completing studies on sub-frame concepts, integration and attaching methods.
- Model Chassis components and produce kinematic models with dynamic clearance envelopes
- Preparing detailed drawings and models of proposed design changes to support the Release process.
- Contributing effectively to team technical discussions.
- Keeping abreast of technical developments within the industry, i.e. evolution of NX.

Qualifications and Experience required:
- Must have an Engineering degree.
- Extensive experience within an automotive and/or automotive components supplier group.
- Must have extensive experience working in NX (NX7.5 desirable).
- Fully capable with 2D drafting.
- Good working knowledge of VIS Mockup and Team Centre.
- Able to actively participate in creation and development of innovative design solutions within the CAD environment.
- Experience of CAD system migration
- Strong in all Microsoft Office applications.
