My client, an industry leading product developer is looking to recruit a talented Senior mobile developer on contract to get involved with bringing the organisation to the mobile space.
Their product suite is exceptional, and very niche, which makes this role particularly exciting.
This position will deliver frameworks and apps for iOS, Android, Blackberry, or Windows 7. These applications will support the clients niche product suite. The Mobile Developer is expected to have experience in one or more device platforms, possess the flexibility and desire to learn new technologies, have strong knowledge of app deployment capabilities, and can demonstrate solid UI/UX design.
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver on assigned software design, development, testing, and documentation tasks;
- Work closely with a team to integrate designs, components, and ideas together;
Person Specification:
- The drive to deliver quality products in a timely manner;
- Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
Qualifications:
- 8+ years of Software Engineering experience with a product focus;
- B.S. in CS/Engineering or equivalent;
- 2+ years developing applications in iOS or Android;
- Strong knowledge of Object Oriented concepts;
- Knowledge of Multithreaded programming;
- Experience with HTML5 based applications;
- Experience with Web Services is a plus.
