If you can bring a can-do attitude and a flexible approach, this role offers ongoing development opportunities. Joining a friendly, supportive team, you'll help look after our sewage treatment works, so maintaining to the highest standards for customers.

You will join the EM&I team as an Electrical Technician carrying out planned preventative maintenance and reactive work.

It's a hands-on role that will see you joining a dedicated team, diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs, assist in making local decisions and suggestions for improvement to poor performing plant.

Your responsibilities will include:

-Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on sewage treatment works and associated assets
-Take responsibility for the effective operation of the plant and equipment.
-Fault finding and repair faults on relevant equipment.
-Be part of a team, use their skills in making local decisions and suggestions for improvement
-Be able to view failed plant and give reasons for failures
-Advise on plant that requires updating or is performing badly
-Participation in standby rota

Skills and Competence, you will need:

-Relevant City & Guilds Electrical qualifications
-Time served apprenticeship
-Formal Mechanical training (dual killed) preferred
-Confined space's trained
-Health & safety awareness
-The ability to assist other members of the team when required
-Be enthusiastic, have a good common sense and have a flexible approach
-Be a team player and be customer focused
-Be able to work effectively with minimum supervision
-Valid full driving licence
-IT literate and competent
