Our client is a Global technology Company with manufacturing operations in Leixlip Co Kildare. They currently seek an Automation Engineer to join their team on a 12 month contract specialising in automation and control solutions, developing and enhancing applications for deployment to a global manufacturing operation.

Responsibilities:

  • Automate manufacturing equipment operation and deliver software control, test and information management solutions to meet customer requirements
  • Develop integrated software solutions between equipment, manufacturing execution systems, manufacturing databases and other critical systems

    • Experience and knowledge:

    • Experience in development of control systems and automation solutions using PLC's or PC based control systems.
    • Strong programming skills (in some of C/C++, VB, .NET, Java)
    • Experience of working with software development methodologies/tools
    • Experience of developing systems in an object-oriented environment
    • Demonstrated knowledge of PC Operating Systems
    • Experience/knowledge of requirements of high volume hi-tech manufacturing environment
