Stress Engineers / Crash Engineers- South West 36p/h + or 45k p/a + benefits.Working for a World Leading Aircraft OEM,designing prestigious, 'state-of-the-art' products
in brief, we require Stress Engineers for all encompassing roles ,ideally experienced in one or more of the following :-
*Performing and overseeing both static, kinematic and dynamic analyses to support new and legacy design including writing documentation and analysing test data to support calculations
* FEA Experience with Nastran / Patran
* non-linear explicit analysis. Radioss/LS-Dyna preferably but Pam-Crash or Abaqus as an alternative
* With a Degree or equivalent in Mechanical/Aerospace/Structural Engineering,
It is essential that the candidate have significant experience of carrying out FEA (nastran/patran) as well as traditional hand calculations for mechanical structures.
Good knowledge of material specifications and manufacturing techniques including composite lay-ups.
