Description
We are a leading UK-based architecture consultancy specialising in strategy, enterprise and solutions architecture. Currently, we have a contract opportunity for an Integration Architect to work on a significant transformation programme for our retail client starting in early December 2012. The contract is expected to last between 6 - 9 months.The right applicant will have:
Professional experience
•Solid experience as an integration architect/integration-focussed solution architect
•Demonstrable systems integration and middleware expertise
•Solid demonstrable background in IT design/development experience
•Full project lifecycle integration architecture experience on two or more significant implementations within medium to large organisations
•Good understanding of financial and business processes
•Experience using methodologies such as agile, waterfall, RAD etc.
•Broad appreciation of Infrastructure design patterns, principles of enterprise architecture and service management frameworks (e.g. ITIL)
Technical experience
•Good knowledge of web services design & architecture principles,
•Good knowledge of integration middleware (Talend, Microsoft BizTalk, Websphere, Webmethods, Oracle Fusion, etc.)
•Strong demonstrable experience of business applications
•Good experience of Microsoft .NET, J2EE or both
•Good understanding of software development life-cycle processes, tools and technologies(e.g. Rational Unified Process)
•Ideally in-depth understanding of database design & architecture principles
•Ideally TOGAF (8+) or ITAC certified
Personal profile
•Educated to degree level
•Demonstrable strong experience of dealing with complex, multi-stakeholder environments
•Ideally experience working within a consultancy
•A valid UK work permit.
