IS Architect for Payments and Cash Management

For one of our banking clients we are looking for a French speaking Architect - Payments and Cash Management for contract position.

Responsibilities:

  • Define and maintain (parts of) the Enterprise Information Architecture, support and help IT Projects on Architecture;
  • To define, advice, consult, implement and test on the Architecture methodology and tools, in order to accelerate fulfilment of the Business strategy and to ensure a high performance, flexible, robust, profitable and forward-looking IT environment;
  • To contribute towards the definition and implementation of the architecture framework, methodology and tools in order to ensure that they are understood and used by IT and the Business;
  • Translate Business strategy and new objectives into the Group Architecture;
  • Advise on the adoption of new technologies and concepts to keep architecture in line with market and available technologies; etc....

Required knowledge/experience:

  • Knowledge and hands-on experience on Payables (outgoing transfer, multiple payment, book transfer, etc.); Receivables (Direct Debit, Incoming transfer, request for transfer); Cheques (Debit/Credit, Bill of exchange); Reporting (End-of-day, Intra-day); Pooling (physical, notional); Payment related activities (Accounting, SWIFT messaging, reconciliation, investigations, AML)
  • Hands-on experience in describing Functional Services and Data-modelling in general is a plus
  • Quick self-starter, pro-active attitude;
  • Team player with good analytical and synthesis skills;
  • Excellent communication skills both in English and French languages.
