Description
Infrastructure Support, VMware, Netapp, Windows, SANReporting to the Infrastructure Manager, this role is a third-level support role which includes the administration, configuration, troubleshooting, tuning and testing of storage arrays and other components of a SAN infrastructure. In addition to "Business As Usual" activities, support will be needed for project implementation work.
Responsibilities:-
- Monitor operating status and capacity of the SAN
- Undertaking storage capacity and performance management
- Providing second -level support, particularly during incidents.
- Plan and implement complex changes to the storage infrastructure.
- Providing technical storage recommendations.
- Planning infrastructure upgrades (inc. patching)
Skills required:-
- Demonstrable experience of Storage Infrastructure
- Working Knowledge of NetApp
- VMware
- Windows Server
- Active Directory
Opportunity to work within Financial services, previous experience not required.
