Working closely with the Marketing & Communications Manager and the Operating Businesses to deliver cost effective marketing communications activities accountable to the Marketing & Communications Manager for the delivery of the elements of the marketing campaigns for which they are given responsibility.

REQUIRED
- Experience in Marketing communications ideally account management from within an agency environment
- Experience of working on behavioural change campaigns
- Experience of managing elements of integrated campaigns including brief writing, creative development, media planning and using TV, Print and Digital channels
- Experience of presenting to audiences
- Experience of dealing with and/or a good awareness of Marketing services agencies and their role
- Ability to work within a complex multi-stakeholder environment

To support the delivery of effective, value for money Marketing Communications activities, designed to support the delivery of agreed Marketing Objectives.
The jobholder will work closely with the Marketing & Communications Manager and the Operating Businesses to deliver cost effective marketing communications activities as defined and agreed

The jobholder will be accountable to the Marketing & Communications Manager for the delivery of the elements of the marketing campaigns for which they are given responsibility to time.

Requirements:
- Support the development of appropriate marketing activities in conjunction with the Operating Businesses, as directed by the Marketing & Communications Manager
- Support the development of the budget for each specific campaign
- Supporting the delivery of Marketing activities to time and to budget by ensuring that all assigned tasks are completed within agreed milestones.
- Build an understanding of the Operational business to ensure that tasks can be delivered within the operational context ie outcomes are fit for purpose and also that opportunities for Marketing activities to support the business are identified
- Utilise appropriate resources from across the wider Marketing Teams, as required to enable delivery
- Act as an advisory service delivery to the Operational Businesses 
- Ensure that all Marketing activity takes into account all relevant UK and EU legislation

Requirements:
- Ensuring that all tasks are delivered to time and ensuring that the status of each individual task is regularly communicated to the Marketing & Communications Manager
- External Agencies liaising - As directed by the Marketing & Communications Manager
- Knowledge of the varying roles for Customer Information and Marketing in a major integrated public transport system
- An understanding of the role and value of all Customer Information and Marketing channels: PR/Comms, Advertising, web/digital incl. social media
- A working knowledge of the Operating Businesses
- An understanding of social inclusion/exclusion issues, best practice and relevant Government guidelines/legislation
- A good understanding of the content of an integrated marketing brief
- A working knowledge of how to delivery specified tasks as part of a delivery team
- Good organisational and management skills
- Good written and oral communication skills
- Good presentational skills
- Excellent analysis and decision-making skills
- Experience in Marketing communications
- Experience of managing elements of integrated campaigns
- Experience of presenting to audiences
- Experience of dealing with and/or a good awareness of Marketing services agencies and their role
- Ability to work within a complex multi-stakeholder environment
