Stock Reconciliation Administrator - 6 Month Contract - London - Investment management

My Client is seeking a Stock reconciliation administrator to come aboard on an initial 6 months contract to help execute the reconciliation of external safekeeping. They are a London-based, global investment management organisation who provides investment products and services to broad clients.

Some of the responsibilities will include the following:

  • Performing the monthly stock reconciliation of external custody accounts against the clients portfolio records (Quasar) using the Smartstream Transaction Lifecycle Management system (TLM) and of any other non-standard client set-up which requires a stock reconciliation to take place outside of TLM.
  • Identify all stock reconciliation breaks
  • Preparation of NAV, Market Value & Pricing reconciliations, operating within the time constraints specified by each client
  • Maintaina FSA CASS (client assets) awareness, ensuring an appropriate mindfulness of CASS impact on team processes.
  • Maintain a TCF (Treating Customers Fairly) awareness ensuring an appropriate mindfulness of the need for fair treatment of clients.

The department of this great opportunity sits within the Asset Administration and investment operations team which concentrates heavily on maintaining the new improvements into the reconciliation tasks that has recently been reviewed and signed off.

You will have to comply withal corporate policies and procedures within the business and be aware of current regulatory and legal obligations of the processes managed. Notify management and Compliance immediately of any regulatory breach.

Persons specifications requires someone who has -

  • Technical knowledge: experience and understanding of stock reconciliation processes within the financial industry, and of custody and investment management operational processes.
  • Communication skills: ability to establish rapport and cooperative relationships.
  • Risk Management: ability to understand, assess and minimize risks associated with business processes.
  • Quality of Work &Organisational Skills: an analytical approach; ability to produce high quality work showing attention to detail. Ability to manage workload and meet deadlines.

PLEASE NOTE WE ARE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WHO HAS A STRONG BACKGROUND OF FINANCIAL AND INVESTMENT CLIENT EXPERIENCE.
