My Client, a global market leading Oil & Gas company is looking for a Contracts Engineer to join one of their exciting overseas development plans.
Key Accountabilities:
* Pre-award contract engineering including the drafting and development of: expression of interest, prequalification, bid list, request for proposal, evaluations, negotiation and award.
* Post-award contract administration including: contractual correspondence, agreement, drafting and processing of call offs, variations, amendments, claims; invoice approval; securing internal approvals; maintaining and archiving of contract files/documents; contract close out.
* Liaison and co-ordination with other project disciplines to ensure interfaces for each package are appropriately managed.
* Input to development and use of standardised best in class contracting processes including contribution to continuous improvement.
* Input to development of contracting strategies and plans and subsequent adherence.
Essential Skills:
* Degree qualified or equivalent preferred
* MCIPS or equivalent professional qualification.
* Oil and Gas Experience
* Multi-National business experience
* Working knowledge of Ariba, Maximo and IS Networld.
* Knowledge of Arabic or Chinese.
* Experience of working in the Middle East and knowledge of the Far East and Middle East contracting market.
