Description
-Leading the strategic development of program goals, concept development and proposal design/ writing.-Strategizing, and actively participating in new business pitches with existing and prospective clients
-Delivering scientifically accurate information while complying and enforcing legal and regulatory requirements
-Creating content for Manuscripts, Review Articles, Abstracts, Posters, Slide Decks, Advisory Board Material, etc. that is comprehensive and on strategy.
-Responsible for scientific direction of client programs to ensure medical communication is accurate, clinically relevant and reflect the most recent medical advances.
-Managing customer expectations and customer delivery
-Consulting with experts, KOLs and provide information and expert resources as needed.
-Traveling to and manages on-site editorial needs for live meetings.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Advanced degree in the life sciences, pharmacology or medicine
- 4-5 years+ experience in strategic medical communications role within pharmaceutical or medical communications industry.
- Must have first-hand publications/ scientific content development experience.
- Project management experience with direct client contact regarding project delivery and content development needs
Current knowledge of medical writing and referencing guidelines
