IT Operations Lead
Strong Operations focus with proven experience in management of key ITIL processes (Incident, Problem, and Change Mgmt)
- Ability to effectively co-ordinate and drive IT infrastructure failure restoration efforts and conduct post mortem investigations.
- Ability to effectively communicate with users, stakeholders, and vendor support..
- Experience in producing various Operations focused reports such as incident, problem, and change summary report including post mortem reports
- Technically skilled to review planned IT changes and provide reports/summaries to a Change Advisory Board
- Provide improvement recommendations to existing processes and systems
Able to effectively carry out the following tasks :
- Maintain operational documents
- Plan and manage regular routine maintenance
- Co-ordinate Disaster Recovery system testing
- Manage construction work including rack & server installation, power, network cables
- Implement system security policy
- In-depth working knowledge and experience with Windows, Red Hat Linux, HPUX, Solaris platforms and server hardware
- In-depth knowledge and exposure to network management systems and service management tools such as HP Openview products
