Beacon Hill Technologies is working with a local, Cleveland-Based Client, to staff a Senior Level Network with heavy Juniper Firewall and Cisco configuration experience.
Skills and Knowledge:
- SRX, Netscreen very important more so than Cisco, need JunoOS experience
- Network Platforms - IOS, CatOS, Nexus, Junos, Netscreen
- Routing Protocols - BGP, OSPF, EIGRP
- Switching Protocols - Spanning-tree, Etherchannel, 802.1q, vPC, HSRP
- Data Circuit Technologies - T1, T3, Sonnet, Carrier Ethernet, MPLS, DSL, Broadband, Multi Link T1
- Network Management and Capacity Tools - SNMP, QOS, Opnet
- Cisco ASA Firewalls and VPN concentrators
- Cisco, 3COM, HP, Chip Com, Bay Networks Switches and DEC
Duties:
- Complete the roll out of the new Juniper SRX Firewalls replacing the older Netscreen Firewalls
- Complete the installation
- Work with IPS vendor to turn up IPS monitoring
- Work with Web Content filtering vendor to turn up web content filtering
- Support all aspects of Juniper Switches at all locations that are Juniper based (EnergeX)
- Maintain on a daily basis all aspects of the Juniper Firewalls including VPN tunnels and 3rd party connections
- Participate in the corporate deployment and upgrade of the corporate wireless to the new Motorola solution
- Completion and support of new ACS solution
- Completion and support of new Solar Winds deployment (network configuration backup solution)
- Integration of Opnet our network performance monitoring system
- Cisco Phones, Call Manager, Presence, attendant console, Infocast
