Description
One of our client, a petrochimical company located in Brussels, is currently looking for a:
SAP PP MM Consultant
MISSION OBJECTIVES & CONTENT
- Participation to a world-wide project called 'Supply Chain Redesign' (strong APO/SCM 7.1 knowledge/skills required)
- Management of projects following project management methodology (depending of opportunities and existing workload)
- Design of a solution maximizing the use of SAP standard functionalities and minimizing in-house specific developments while checking consistency with existing model
- Customizing (including the maintenance of structural data) and if needed, writing functional specifications for development
- Testing
- Transferring knowledge to Business Support team and preparing go-live support plan with them
- Delivering all necessary documentation and use the internal project management methodology
- Particular attention should be given to Sarbanes-Oxley compliance
- Work with incident management tool and promote coaching rather than intensive interventions in production system while ensuring knowledge transfer to Level 1 Support
- Contribution to retain internal knowledge: writing technical documentation, sharing experience with internal team
- Work closely with US project counterparts
- Regular Reporting to the Project Leader
DELIVERABLES
- Periodic progress report to the Project leader
- Project reports for projects status reports with other project leaders
- Technical documentation and procedures
SKILLS & COMPETENCES
- Deep knowledge and practical experience in SAP ERP on the following modules: MM/IM and PP
- Basic knowledge of SD
- Deep and technical knowledge in APO/SCM 7.1 in the following modules
o Demand Planning
o SNP
o GATP
o PP/DS - Strong knowledge of SAP BW
- Knowledge of integration and potential impacts with SD & FI/CO modules
- Analytical and synthesis skills
- Initiative and autonomy
- Customer-oriented
- Team spirit and ability to work in project organizations
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to prepare and give presentations (for project reviews as well as giving trainings to end-users)
- Ability to work in a global environment with multicultural and multilingual aspects
- Fluent in English and French both writing and speaking
