Offshore Completions Supervisor sought for an Oil & Gas sector project based in Stavanger.
The Offshore Completion Supervisor is a member of the Wells Completion Engineering Team, working as offshore Completion Supervisor for Drilling & Completions.
The position is shore based in Stavanger in the well planning phase and offshore based during the installation phase of well completion equipment.
Onshore duties:
Coordinating other disciplines within the wells team and with other vendors to ensure the completion equipment deliverables. This includes ensuring spare parts are properly constructed and tested and despatched to the drilling unit on schedule.
Whilst onshore in the planning phase the offshore Completion Supervisor will also support the Lead Completion Engineer in workover equipment planning and programming according to the Global Wells and Beyond the Best common process, thereby ensuring the drilling and well operations are completed and planned in line with corporate, wells, and Norwegian rules and regulations, policies and guidelines.
The ideal candidate for the role of Offshore Completions Supervisor will have the following:
- Previous experience in a similar role with strong experience in Completions
- Good understanding well rules and regulations, policies and guidelines
- Previous experience working Norway would be a plus
- Excellent communication skills with fluent English or Norwegian language.
- Eligible to work in Norway (EU Passport/Work Permit Holder)
