Description
Summary:
Develop and design web applications and web sites. Responsible for directing web site content creation, enhancement and maintenance.
Education/Experience:
Bachelor degree in computer science or equivalent training required. Significant previous IT experience required.
Skills and Competencies:
Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, customer service and interpersonal skills. Expert ability to work independently and manage ones time. Expert knowledge of computer software, such as Adobe, Java, SQL, etc.
Major Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Supervise the design, build or maintenance of web sites, using authoring or Scripting languages, content creation tools, management tools and digital media. Supervise the writing, design, or editing web page content. Direct web site updates. Review problems uncovered by testing or customer feedback and approve the correction of problem. Advise and direct management or development teams to prioritize needs, resolve conflicts, develop content criteria or choose solutions. Direct development or validation of test routines and schedules to ensure that test cases mimic external interfaces. Maintain understanding of current web technologies or programming practices through continuing education.
Qualifications
1) 1-2 years experience providing network support (LAN and/or WAN)
2) Strong Customer Focus
Desirable Qualifications
1) CCNA certification
2) Experience working with BGP
3) Experience troubleshooting MPLS networks
4) Experience troubleshooting Cisco network devices
Responsibilities
This position will provide "Level 2" network support for a global network. This includes troubleshooting WAN, LAN and some Voice issues. This employee will require a strong sense of urgency in dealing with network related issues.
