Presales consultant - Financial Data Management

As a presales consultant within this leading Financial Data Management organisation, your responsibilities will include supporting sales staff through various methods including: -

- Engaging clients

- Delivering presentations and demos

- Answering technical questions and responding to RFIs and RFPs

- Taking feedback from clients to the development organization as part of the Product Management process.

- Serve as financial markets and product expert performing a lead role in supporting the global sales organization

Required Experience:

- Strong knowledge of the financial industry, including different asset classes, trading and operational processes ( Ideally - knowledge of some of the following:- portfolio management, order management, compliance, risk management, reporting, performance measurement, accounting & settlement)

- Experience working in a sales environment, preferably at a vendor

- Knowledge of business drivers and purposes of data management and understanding of different data types including security master, price data, corporate actions, derived data, etc.

- Experience working with financial data, data models and data processes

- Working knowledge of European and American security rules and regulations governing financial markets

- Excellent communication

- Second language (European) would be a nice to have

- Technical proficiency - Microsoft package and any scripting (VB or Unix shell scripts) and databases

In this role you will have a great deal of exposure to some of the world's leading financial institutions. You will also work as part of a global sales team and have a vast amount of interaction with the global professional services team.

Location -London

Salary - 60 - 90k
