Description
Duties:Responsible for general laboratory housekeeping, cleaning of special equipment (refrigerators, hoods, cold room, and incubators), ordering reagents and lab supplies, and other laboratory support activities. Will ensure laboratories are maintained in compliance with cGMP, GLP and safety regulations, by performing lab "sweeps", equipment maintenance and daily or weekly checks (balance weight checks, pH checks, and Yokogawa chart maintenance and daily check).
Skills:
The candidate must possess a strong focus on quality and attention to detail. Computer literacy, familiarity with general laboratory equipment, experience working in a cGMP environment and process improvement based knowledge are preferred, but not required.
Education:
AA or equivalent education in Biology/Chemistry or related field. BA/BS preferred. The candidate must possess a strong focus on quality and attention to detail.
