Senior Mechanical Engineer- sought due to business growthRole based in Bristol
On offer £40-45,000 plus benifits
This opportunity comes from a world leading provider of plant equipment, largely supplying to the power industry. Due to an increase in work they are seeking to add to their team an experienced project/design engineer used to working on-site over seeing plant installations.
The focus of your role will be to ensure products delivered meet the design requirements, budget and overall needs of the customer. You will need to be able to work in a customer facing role and must be confident discussing technical requirements.
Interested? To perform in this position you need the following skill set:
- Qualified and experienced in mechanical engineering
- 5 years plus experience with AutoCAD/ alternate 3D CAD system
- Experience in the onsite installation of plant equipment.
- An understanding of fabrication and welding
- The ability to interact with the customer on a daily basis
- An appreciation of Quality, Health and Safety standards,
- Ideally able to calculate geometric tolerances, conduct FEA/Stress Analysis.
