I have an excellent opportunity for a client of mine based in Dublin.
My client are looking for a VMWare Support Engineer to join their team on a contract basis.
The ideal candidate will have experience with one or more of the following:
- VMware vCloudDirector 5.1
- VMware vCenter Orchestrator and workflow development for web services integration
- VMware vCenter Site Recovery Manager
- VMware vCloud Networking and Security
- VMware vCenter Operations Manager (including vCenter vShield)
- VMware vSphere and vCenter Manager
- They should also be able to demonstrate working technology knowledge of Linux and Windows operating systems and Shell Scripting (sh, bash, PowerShell, WSH & VBScript)
- Proven experience of complex and/or large scale solution designs & agile implementations
- Strong solution design, performance improvement and service alignment skills.
Desirable skills will be as follows:
- Experience of building VMware virtual infrastructure solution using Net App storage
- Experience of building VMware virtual infrastructure solution using IP SAN networking
- Experience of building automation/cloud services solutions that integrate physical networking management
- Technical integration with Open Source development tools such as Yum, Chief, Spacewalk, etc.
- IT Operations integration with ServiceNow service management
