OTC Settlements Analyst - 6 months contract - London - up to £200 per day

Hudson Banking & Finance are looking for an experience settlements analyst with strong front to Back Office OTC experience. The ideal candidate will need at least 3 years + experience within the FS sector with a strong focus to enter a new role & hit the ground running from day one.

OTC Settlements Analyst is responsible for agreeing cashflows with counterparts on or before value date, ensuring that all queries are resolved to in a timely manner, the candidate should also be able to work with high volumes and be able to multitask.
The role provides an excellent opportunity to gain an in depth understanding of the full OTC derivative products and work within a high volume and challenging environment

Responsibilities:
*Ensuring the accuracy of trade details via the affirmation, confirmation, and portfolio reconciliation process.
*Resolving settlement breaks with prime brokers, counterparties and Front Office.
*Reporting and escalating trade exceptions and fails to management
*Distributing transaction information, running reports, and communicating exceptions.
*Participation in continuing education programs and remaining current on all applicable operational matters.
*Identifying redundancies and suggest improvements within existing operational processes
*Support the progression of DTCC & Swapswire on boarding and implementation across OTC Operations.
*The candidate will have some working experience working in OTC Previous exposure to ICE, MISYS, Markitwire and/or DS Match would be an advantage. Daily interaction with other departments is common, and essential to this role's success

Requirements:
*Ability to multi-task, work to deadlines and accommodate varying levels of volume and priorities
*Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise work
*Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
*Confident personality, as liaison with Front Office, Legal Department, other Ops Dept. and clients is a fundamental part of the role - exceptional customer service skills
