One of the worlds most renowned investment banks is looking for an business savvy application support analyst to take charge of their foreign exchange desk.
The role has come about due to internal promotion. The client values internal mobility and organic growth in more senior roles, supporting your career development as you grow with the business.
Applicants must have had previous experience working within the foreign exchange market, ideally within a front office trading support environment.
The role is a technically hands on one which will focus upon 1st and 2nd line support.
While technical expertise is important, strong client facing communication skills are imperative as this role will focus upon working very closely with traders as you will be based on the trade floor.
Ideal skill set and experience:
- Foreign exchange / E-Commerce trading and operations
- Unix (Solaris and Linux)
- SQL (Oracle and SQL Server)
- Strong communication skills
