My retail client are currently looking to recruit a Financial Reporting Manager to be accountable for Financial Accounting and Reporting for the UK, including monthly reporting and reconciliations, treasury management, UK statutory accounts, VAT returns and tax information.

The position will also produce balance sheet and cash flow forecasts, capital expenditure reporting, capex forecast consolidation and depreciation forecasts.

The position is also responsible for Sarbanes Oxley (SOx) processes and compliance where applicable to Financial Accounting

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
* Qualified Accountant
* Experience of working in a financial accounting area in a customer facing commercial business (with exposure to management accounts and financial operations)
* People manager with the ability to lead and motivate a team
* Experience of managing projects
* Excellent communication and leadership skills
* Excellent interpersonal skills
* Experience of process improvement and driving change
* Able to focus on areas of compliance eg US GAAP, UK GAAP, SOX, VAT
* Strong IT skills with the ability to learn quickly
* Understanding of process, scope and design for change
* Good Knowledge of the requirements for internal control and segregation of duties
