Currently our client is a leading European energy provider who develops, constructs and maintains offshore wind parks. The Site Secretary will be based in North East of the UK, working on a full time 2 year contract basis. This role will be a coordinating, organising and multi-tasking role; which is ideal for someone who is methodical and thinks quickly on their feet.Job Description:
- Phone and Reception Service
- Creating and maintaining site personnel contact list
- Receiving guests and deliveries. Arranging lunch for meetings on site
- Distributing incoming mail
- Booking accommodation and taxis for visitors
- Directing phone calls (only on some sites)
- Providing IT support and reporting IT errors
- Keeping overview of the site staff calendars
- Keeping a log book of site visitors and retrieving the book in case of fire
- PONDUS-support regarding filing of documents
- Meetings, events etc.
- Scheduling and sending out meeting requests for site meetings.
- Organising team events and social activities
- Introduction, Inductions and Training
- Give short introduction /information to new personnel on site, including handing out manuals, PC`s etc.
- Organising site inductions. Assist new personnel when they need help
- Booking and follow up on the need for safety courses among site personnel when informed by HSE
- General support of staff
 
Qualifications:
- Staff with minimum 5 years of professional and relevant experience on a construction site or a similar working environment.
Conditions:
The Consultant must bring his own PC with Microsoft Office 2007 software and mobile telephone.
Onshore Works: The client will provide office facilities available to the Consultant including office space.
Offshore Works: The Consultant shall bring his/her own PPE (Personal Protection Equipment).
