Description
A leading global banking group is looking to onboard a Client Focussed Business Analyst with strong Business facing skills, the ability to interface with Risk, Finance and IT, and excellent communication skills. This is an initial 6 month contract based in Bankside, London. Projected start date is January 2013.Reporting into the Head of Change Transformation, Organisation and Strategy, the successful Business Analyst will join a small team of highly capable Business Analysts to play a key role in a major follow-on project from the bank's Client Onboarding Programme.
Following on from the Client on Boarding phase, the main focus of the new project will be "Client Risk Weighted Return on Equity". As such, the required Business Analyst should have experience of the following:
- Acting as a "Client Focussed" Business Analyst
- Knowledge of Client Onboarding and Client Relationship Management
- Analysing client risk (including relevant counterparty, credit, operational and reputational risk aspects) and client revenue, and assessing the potential relevant business impact on the Bank
- Interfacing between Client analysis, key members of IT and senior business management
- Producing and presenting clear, concise and informative management information and business process analysis
- Knowledge of CRM and CRM systems
Although this is primarily a "business side" Business Analyst role, a solid IT background will help. Existing members of the team have a background in Business & Test Analysis within a CRM environment, so a knowledge of Banking CRM systems - including the ability to undertake relevant UAT testing - will be advantageous.
Finally, a financial services work history is strongly preferred. Candidates from Investment, Corporate or Global Banking backgrounds are generally suitable, as are candidates from Investment or Wealth management. Location: London (Bankside) / Contract duration: Initially 6 months / Rate of daily pay: £450 - £550
