Description
SQL all-round database administrator required to perform installation, configuration, problem determination, tuning and maintenance of a SQL Server infrastructure.
Good knowledge of associated technologies (AD, Clustering) is a must.
Candidate should be able to demonstrate sufficient maturity to perform/plan key activities without extensive supervision; initiative taking and teamplayer skills are a must.
Activities out of working hours will be required (Production environment)
Required skills:
- General Windows and Active Directory concepts
- Management of Windows 2008 Server
- Windows Clustering
- WebSphere MQ v7 Basics
- MS SQL Server 2008, Advanced Skills
- English Language, level: Fluent (written and spoken)
- Willingness to do standby 24/7
- Willingness to work on shifted work hours (until 8PM only)
- ITIL Basics.
Optional skills:
- Strong knowledge of SO delivery Processes and Tools.
- French and German
- Unix Basics
- Unix Shell Scripting skills
- Basics of TWS (Tivoli Workload scheduler)
